A good painting to me has always been like a friend. It keeps me company, comforts and inspires. Hedy Lamarr

Paint Care
Of all the mediums that people (especially children) enjoy using, watercolor paints seem to be a favorite. Teach your child to keep the crispness in paint colors by treating the set properly. Have your child always use the brushes and paints correctly and always go thorough a standard clean-up routine at the end of each project.

If your set of paints is already muddied, have your child clean then in the following step:
  1. Beginning with the lightest colors, place a few drops of water in each tray to soften the paint.
  2. Rinse the brush.
  3. Gently blot the brush dry on a paper towel.
  4. Use the dry brush as a “mop.” Soak up the dirty water, and with it will come the dirty paint.
